Nik

Nik is number 5 ... and is only 16 days younger than Gracie.

We have known about Nik since before he was born, because he is my BFF's grand nephew.  But, we learned in June that he had been placed in CPS custody, and by July 2, he was in my arms. 

He is a MOVER let me TELL YOU! LOL This boy does NOT know how to stay still!  He crawls everywhere like a speed racer, and he is ready to start walking at any time. 

He has been such a big help with Gracie .. as she watches everything that he does.  He loves to play chase with her, now that she is crawling finally .. he will crawl, giggle, stop and look behind him "telling her" in his own little way to "come and get me!"  and what does she do?  Giggle and crawl after him!  he moves again and stops to wait for her once more!  He is so smart that way! 

He is also strong willed and wow .. when he wants something LOL he makes it KNOWN! 

At the moment, though we would LOVE to adopt him, (and there is a chance!) we have to wait for the court to decide where he will be adopted.  We already know that his birth parents rights will be terminated .. its just a matter of deciding as a court, where he will stay forever.
